2017 Quick-Service Dining Plan

The Quick-Service Dining Plan

When you have a magic your way package (Hotel + Tickets) you have the option of adding a dining plan to that package; either the Quick Service dining plan, Disney Dining plan or the Deluxe Dining plan. Right now I will be focusing on the Quick Service Dining plan for 2017.

Pricing per person per night:
Adult: $48.20
Child: $20.90

What’s Included:

Everyone in the party 3 years old and over receive the following for each night of their stay:
·         Two Quick-Service Meals
o    Quick Service meal consists of one entrée and one nonalcoholic beverage
·         Two Snacks
o    Examples of snacks Frozen icecream, popsicle, popcorn scoop, piece of fruit, bottle and fountain drinks
·         1 Refillable Resort mug.
o   Can only be refilled at Disney Resorts, will not work in the parks.

All unused meals and snacks and the ability to use your refillable mug expire at midnight on your package reservation checkout dates.

How to use your dining plan:

1. Choose your entrée – if you are unsure about which entrees count as the cast member
2.  Present your magic band or card and specify the number of meals you want to redeem
3. This is the hard part. Find a seat and enjoy your food

Tracking your meals:

There are two ways to track your meals. The first and easiest is to check your dining receipt. The Second is to ask Guest relations or hotel concierge. Maybe eventually they will have it show your meal balance on my Disney experience, but that day has yet to arrive.

Items not included:

 ·         Alcoholic Beverages
·         Items that are more than a single serving
o    Such as a box of doughnuts or a jar of peanut better
·         Items that are served in a souvenir container
·         Items sold from recreational rental counters
·         Items considered to be merchandise
·         Special Dining events

Personally I think the quick service dining plan is great for those that want to have almost everything prepaid for their trip. For the most part if you pay out of pocket you will actually spend less than what the dining plan costs.
